Human Resource Management has been a friend of mine since entering the business/corporate world.  As a worker bee or in management, I have had a great relationship with Human Resources.  Now there was an issue recently that spoke volumes of protective bunker mentality in the corporate HR world.
I was a manager for a team of 20 folks manning a call center.  Mostly young folks are hired for this type of work.  It is stressfull and the retention rate is 135% per year.  You go through a huge amount of folks in a year.  The training is extensive but the calls can be tiring and mentally exhaustive.  So when a team member comes up to me and says he has had a bad time
